i am a Nigerian with an american permanent resident, i live and work here in the united state. i want to go to china for a  business, but i don't have any company contact. i need to do the visibility studies on what to invest in when i arrive in PRC.

Jimy, I'm afraid that the embassy does not issue tourist type entry permit for Nigerian passport holders.  However, since you have got the American Green Card, it's likely that you will be granted with the entry permit. You had better check it with the Chinese embassy in the US.
