About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

can i go with my wife as care taker and do work in China? what type of visa and document required?

my wife got admission in PHD in china planing to travel PRC in aug 2015. my question is that can i go with her as care taker? can i work in china as caretaker of my wife?

Zaheer, it's right that you can go with your wifer as a care taker by applying for the S type entry permit. However, it's illegal to work witht he L type. That is to say, if you want to work in China, you have to apply for a work Z type entry permit.
