How I can get back to Shanghai to take care my mother?

Dear MR, and MS:

I am U.S Citizen and I have 10 years Chinese Visa during pandemic how I can get back to China and take care my mother who is 90 years old and has dementia? I want to see her before she will develop to Alzheimer. Please be very empathy and I will really appreciate.

You may try to apply for S visa, for private affairs. China issues humanitarian visas during pandemic period.
