About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Can I change my visa type within China?

I'm on S1 type here in China and if I got admission in master, so can I change it to X (Student) type without leaving?

Zaheer, it's likely that you can change it to student type at the local Exit and Entry Administration Bureau. You can consult with the office before you come there.
