About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

is Free transit visa working in this case?

Hello,
I'm flying back from Aukland (New Zeland) to SHANGHAI with China Eastern and have another flight from SHANGHAI to Paris.( 18 hours later) Flights are not connected. I'm afraid that immigration office at Auckland airport doesn't want to let me take off ?
Thanks

Aurelien, as you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit policy, the immigation office should allow you to board on and take off. If they insist that you are not allowed to so do, you can explain the situation to them.
