Hey, you are now not in China and your Q2 is not used, right? If so, after you enter China, you can extend the Q2 type at the nearby exit and entry administration departement. The allowed extension shall not exceed 60 days. The overall application process for the long stay entry permit (namely, Q1 type) is basically the same as that of the Q2 type, but you need to submit your marriage certificate as well. If the certificate is not issued by Chinese authorities, you should have it notarized before the submission.
