do i need to get the visa through travel agency or directly with consular office?

Hello, now im in Japan for business and i have the residence card (im mexican), and next month i want to go to China for tourism. Now i live in Kuwana, Mie-ken, so which consulate do i need to go to?.

Alejandro, I am afraid that you may not apply for the L type in person from Chinese consulate. You'd better find a tour agency to help you with your application.
