About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

I am a UK citizen travelling throughout S.E. Asia until September wanting a tourist visa for China

I am a UK citizen travelling throughout S.E. Asia and not returning to the UK until September at the very earliest.

I would like to come as a tourist and have the opportunity to do so very soon. I do not have aKITAS in Indonesia, as I do not work here, but I do have a one year multi entry business type for Indonesia which expires in Dec 2015, would like to apply through the Indonesian system as it would appear that my business type would qualify me as having legitimate grounds to stay in Indonesia.

Would this approach also enable me to apply for a Double entry one, or only a single visit type. if anyone has any knowledge I would welcome it.

Guy, the business type for Indonesia is a valid document for you to apply for a L type. However, it's difficult to tell whether you will be granted with a single or double entry one because the consular officers make the final decision. If you really need a double-entry, you can apply. You have 50 percent chance to get it.

Thanks Marc for confirming what I felt. I think I'll go for a single first time out and go for a double later
