About:China Work Visa

I have been informed that the Chinese Embassy are no longer issuing 90 day work visas, is this true?

Hello,
I was told they can only issue 30 day ones. All my flights are booked and my employer is expecting me on the 4th May, how do I solve this problem?

Thank you for your help.
Kind Regards,
Izzy

According to my knowledge, the Z type is usually valid for 30 days. You need to change it into a temporary resident permit within 30 days after you arrive. The duration of this resident permit depends on how long your contract is. So there won't be a problem if you can enter within 30 days.
