About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I plan drive to NY Chinese Consulate from Ohio in next 2 weeks for our Tourist Visa.

Can I get it done in same day processing and I'll drop off our applications before 10 Am?

Hi, Sunny! The consular office does offer same-day service if you additionaly pay 30 dollars. As you are just applying for tourist entry permits, I think the embassy will accept your application for the same-day service.

Hi Merry, for your information, we just came back from the NY Consulate and in facts, they are not accepting same day applications. But they do have a 3 days express service for addition of $30.00 or folks may as well go for the regular 4 days pick-up without this additional fees.
I learn my lesson by not having those specialty Service companies do it for us since we live 550 miles away, they charges around $100.00/visa + mailing fees only you've to have at least 30 days of time to be safe which we don't have.
Besides, we do enjoy visit the Big Apple and lots of nice folks we met there.
