grand canal night tour

If we do not join the boat tour which costs 100 yuan, can we take a regular boat to Gongchen bridge as well ? We prefer to stroll along the riverside and have a meal there before going back to Hangzhou. Any bus from Gongchen bridge area to HZ?

At night, there is no regular boat going there. You are suggested to join a night boat tour (about CNY80), it will not stop on the way. From the Gongchen Bridge, you can take the public bus No. 61, 70, 95 and 591 back to downtown area. The buses stop service about 8 -9 pm. Your time is tight. If you miss the last bus, you can take a taxi back to downtown area, about 20 mins and the fare is about CNY35.
