tourist bus from pingyao town to qiao's compound

Question

1) you mention there is a tourist bus. What is the time of departure and price and the return time? Is the service daily? 2) What about tourist buses to Wang's compund? If not what buses to take?Can we buy train ticket in Beijing a week in advance from Datong to Taiyuan and PY back to Beijing? We want to ensure we return back to Bejing by a due date.

1. I have no idea of the tourist bus info. But at PY Bus Station, you can easily take a bus to Qixian and it will drop you off in front of the Qiao's Compound. 2. To Wang's Compund, you can hire a taxi or private car and they charge CNY200-300 for a round trip. Or at PY Bus Station, two direct buses are in service each day, leaving at 07:10 and 13:20. 3. It is certainly ok to buy the train ticket one week in advance in Beijing. But you should note that if buying in a ticket office in dowtown, you need to pay extra CNY5 service fee for each ticket.
