About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Is it possible for me to extent the visa with another month in Bejing?

Hey there,
i might be going to attend a Chinese language camp during the summer. For that i need to apply for a 1 month L type. However, i have some friends i wish to travel with afterwards.

Christian, you can ask for the extension from the entry and exit management bureau in Beijing. But there is no guarantee that you will get another month. According to what I know, you can get another month at most. It's possible that you may be granted with two weeks too.

Except for your passport, filled application form, a recent passport photo, accommodation regisgration form, proof of staying longer time and 3000 USD or 21000 RMB in a Chinese account.

You need to submit your extension at least 7 days before your current one expires.

Hey CHarlie,
thanks for your answer. Would i need to create a chinese bank account myself? Also do you know where i can get the application form+accomodation registration form?
