About:China Visa Application in UK

Australian (With indefinate leave visa) applying from UK to go to China

Hello,
I am an Australian Citizen who lives in the UK looking to go to China early April.
I have a copy of my flight details
Letter from friend who I will be staying with (with a copy of her passport)
My current passport
An old passport with my indefinitely leave entry permit
A completed form as per this website
Return self-addressed envelope
A checklist with all the things I am including in the envelope
I just do not want to delay my application so have a few questions.
1. Estimated time I will have my entry permit and passports back via post
2. IS there anything else I need to send?
3. Can you confirm the total cost for you to do the single entry type
Thank you!
Danielle

Hi Danielle!
1. If you are applying by posts, the processing time is about 10 working days.
2. Do you come to visit your friend? If so, you should apply for an L type. Apart from the documents you mentioned, you should also put a photocopy of your passport and indefinitely leave entry permit into the envelope. Remember you should stick a recently-taken color bare-headed photo on the application form.
3. If you submit the application in person, the fee is 66 pounds; if by post, the fee is 84 pounds.
