You need to provide a completely-filled visa application form, one recent passport size color photograph, a photocopy of the front, back and validity page of your passport. For tourism, return ticket and hotel reservation are requried. Or you may need to travel in a group with an invitation letter from a Chinese travel agency. Make sure that the visa applications should be submitted in person.
