korean tourist visa for chinese nationals

Hi!
I was wondering if you know the requirements for Chinese nationals for a tourist entry permit, I think we will apply in Beijing, as a mexican national i dont need it to get in as a tourist but my husband does, we heard that since last year is easier to get it without the need of booking a tour, is it true?

Pamela, does your husband have registered Beijing permanent residence (namely, Beijing Hukou)? If yes, he can make an online appointment via the website of the Korean embassy and then apply for the Korean entry permit. If not, the entry permit has to be obtained through an authorized travel agency in Beijing.

Hello!
Thanks for answering. He has a taiyuan hukou. We live in taiyuan but we dont have embassy or any ither korean consular office here. Can we apply with a travel agency here? Or it has to be with a travel agency in beijing?

Yes, you can apply with one of the travel agencies below in Taiyuan:
Shanxi Shangwu International Travel Agency
Shanxi Hongma International Travel Agency
Shanxi Baohua Shengshi International Travel Agency
