E-2 Visa for south korea

Hello,

I am a third country national from the USA. Right now I am teaching english in china. I am thinking of getting a E-2 for teaching english in korea in the future. If possible, I prefer to get it at a korean embassy in china then back home since it is more convenient.

Would that be possible? Better yet, is it possible to get a E-2 or a general entry permit in Hong Kong?

Peter, it is possible to get it either from the consulate general in mainland or in Hong Kong. Before you submit the application, you can contact the embassy and confirn with it.
