About:Mutianyu Great Wall

Roundtrip duration for Mutianyu Watchtower No. 6 to Watchtower No. 1

Anyone know how much average time does it takes to hike back and forward from watchtower no. 6 to watchtower no. 1? Considering late 30 couples with moderate walking speed and stamina, we are planning to go late April. Thanks!

Christine, I read that a guy walked from no.1 watchtower to no.6 watchtower in 30 minutes. So I think you can finish it within a hour. There should be around 23 watchtowers on the wall. It takes around 2.5 hours to for a single trip to visit all of the towers. If you are strong, you may climb the wall and get down in four hours.
