Is there 6 month tourist visa? Would be grateful for reply.

Hi. I have several friends in China and would like to spend sometime there travelling and visiting my Chinese friends. I know there are multiple entry ones but it would be some hustle being forced to leave the country every 30 days. Is there any L type which enables me to stay there for 6 months uninterrupted?

Boris, I don't think you can get an L type with the allowed stay duration of six months. You can apply for a multiple entry L type. Before each stay duration runs out, you can extend it at the local Exit and Entry Administration Department. So that you do not need to leave and enter very often.
