About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

I am a British citizen. I would be grateful if you advise me on this itinerary.

London to Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur to Guangdong
Guangdong to Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur to London
If I stay in Guangdong for less than 144 hours, do you think I would be eligible?

Thanks again

Of course you are not eligible. You need a visa because you are visiting China.

Malaysia-China-Malaysia is obviously not eligible for transit without visa because you're not in transit to a third country. It needs a visa.

Alternatively, you can fly from Kuala Lumpur to Guangdong, from there take a train to Hong Kong and after that return to Kuala Lumpur from Hong Kong. Like this, you would be eligible for 144 hours visa free transit.
