Highway route from Shenzhen (Guangdong) to Zhengzhou (Henan)

Hello, I am Michael from Malaysia. I am planning to drive for the trip for over 2 days. Kindly advise on the most suitable highways route to use. Approximately how much will be the highways toll and travelling time on the road? Which city should I stop for the night and any recommendation on the places to stay, visit and dine.

Thanks

First of all, I'd like to tell you that a foreigner is not allowed to drive in Chinh without a temporary Chinese driving license. Anyway, here is the general route on highway for your trip:
Guangshen Highway (Guangzhou-Shenzhen Highway) - Jingzhu Highway (Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Highway)
On the way, you should keep an eye to the road signs and boards, which are marked in Chinese and English. For the whole trip, you may need to pay around CNY735 for toll fee.

On the way, you can stay for night at Zhuzhou, Changsha or Yueyang.
