Rail information from Shanghai Pudong to Xiamen City

Hi,I'll be based in Shanghai Pudong on March 9th and I will have to go from Shanghai Pudong(where I booked an hotel) to Xiamen City. how can I get to Xiamen City?Which station should I leave from? I saw it's very far, more than 1000 km. I would like to take a fast one. Thank you.
