About:Shanghai Train Ticket Offices

Can foreigner buy ticket in advance at designated ticket office instead of train station?

This website indicated lots of ticket offices are unable to issue tickets for foreigners but I saw some post that said yes. Kind of confused. I'll be travel to Shanghai in April and wish to purchase few tickets couple days ahead at the ticket office to prevent lines at the railway station. Is it possible?

Yes! As a foreigner it is possible to buy your tickets at the Train Tickets Offices, you just have to present your passport and they will charge you around 5RMB extra. That's it
