About:China Embassy in Thailand

Foreigner in Thailand

Hi,
I`m Egyptian who lives in Budapest - Hungary. I came to Thailand with a tourist visa yesterday and was planning to get a Chinese one from there as well. however, the Chinese embassy was closed because of the Chinese new year. I would like to get this from here as i would like to visit PRC while I am in Asia.

can i get this from here and what would be the required papers? do you need an employment paper as well keeping in mind that it is a company in Hungary?

Thanks

Yes, you can apply for it from Thailand. The required papers include your valid passport, a photocopy of the passport's data page, an application form pasted with your recently taken color photo, the original and photocopy of your entry permit for Thailnd, and round-trip ticket and hotel reservations. Generally speaking, the employment certificate is not required.
