Ash, I am afraid that you need to post your application to HK Immigration Department directly. In this way, it takes four to six weeks to deal with your application. If you plan to stay longer, you are required to extend your visa in advance.
You should provide: a copy of your passport information page, filled HK application form, a recent passport photo, travel itinerary and flight tickets and hotel booking in HK. The financial proof can be your bank statement, salary slip or formal written request for Leave given by your employer, employment certificate etc.

Your sponsor can be a person or company. If you ask someone to be your sponsor, then he should meet the following requirements:
1. older than 18 years
2. b.a bona fide Hong Kong resident
3. he/she must be familiar with the applicant
