About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am Afghan citizen holding green card 23h layover in Beijing

I am Afghan Citizen holding green card. I have a layover of 23:15 mints in Beijing Pek airport Los Angles to Dubai. do I need a transit visa. Please advice ASAP .

No, you don't. You are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit, so you don't need a visa of any kind. You should bring your flight tickets in hard copy (e-ticket printouts) and if you want to exit the airport to enjoy a hotel accommodation, you should apply for 24 hour free entry permit upon your landing in Beijing. You are advised to book your accommodation in Beijing in advance and to bring a booking confirmation in hard copy, ready to be presented to Chinese immigration. Simply speaking, this confirmation is increasing your chances of granting an entry permit.
