Will taxis in shanghai accept credit cards?

Unfortunately they don't accept any credit/debit card. If you prefer cash free payment, I suggest you to buy Shanghai metro card which you can use in taxi, buses, metro, Maglev train. You can buy it in each metro station. Deposit for card costs 20 RMB.
