I am rerurning to Canada with my wife wedding gold necklace, do I need to declareany custom paper work either in China or Canada?martin

Martin, you needn't declare it if it is less than 50g. The general rule is that those who take below 50g gold or gold ornaments won't be required to declare at the customs.
