About:China Customs Declaration

Gold necklace with pendant together over 50g

I myself wearing the gold necklace with pendant over 50g, do I need to declare and at last will I been asked to pay the tax?

As far as I know, there won't be a problem if it is for self-use. Anyway, at the customs you'd better declare it in case.
