About:China Work Visa

My U.S. based company has offices in China. Can we send U.S.employees to build products in China?

We are being told to send over 5 or more highly skilled U.S. citizens to build Prototype Models in Shanghai for 2-3 weeks in August. What would need to be done legally for this to happen?

Rick, in your case, I think you should apply M type for them. The required application documents are valid passport, a photocopy of the data page of the passport, a filled application form attached with bare-head photo, and an invitation letter from your office in China.
