Indian Passport from Singapore to Hong Kong

Hi!
I'm planning to go on holiday with my friends to Hong Kong in March (for 8 days) and I wanted to check what kind of requirements i would need in order to successfully enter the country? We're gonna be staying at a friend's house for the entire duration of our trip so we won't be booking a hotel.

Angela, as your stay is not more than 14 days, you don't need the entry permit for HK. However, in order to successfully enter HK, you should hold a passport with at least one month's validity, enough money to support your trip there, and onward or return ticket.

Thanks for the answer! However, how does one go about showing that I have sufficient funds to the support the trip?
