Visa Shanghai Hong Kong / Honk Kong Shaghai

Hi ! I would like to go to Hong Kong from Shanghai and then come back to Shanghai with my boyfriend. I have a Business Multi-entry visa but my boyfriend will come to visit me in Shanghai with a Tourist type entry permit. Will he need another entry permit to come back in mainland China (Shanghai) ?
