About:China Visa Application in USA

How can I get a Chinese Tourist Visa?

I am a naturalized US citizen from China. I been in California for 31 years, my parents lost my Chinese passport, went to Consulate yesterday and was told that I need my Chinese passport for them to process my L type. I do not have my Chinese birth certificate either? What do I need to have them process my L type as my wife and I already book a trip to China in April/2015.

Thanks

In this case, you should take the passport loss report as well as a personal statement to the embassy and see if they can work anyway. The passport loss report is issued by the police when you report the loss incident to the police.

Thanks for the reply. The passport has expire when it was loss and all my family has become United States Citizens. It was a single passport for my brother, father and myself for entry into the United States 31 years ago. My father is unable to locate the old Chinese passport.
