About:China Student Visa

Can I extend an x2 visa while I am already in China?

or do I have to leave and go back to my country of origin to get a new one? Could I get a Temporary Residence Permit to work like an extension to my x2?

Made, you can visit local entry and exit management bureau to exend your X2. Please remember that you should go there at least 7 days in advance before your X2 expires. And you can't change your X2 type into a temporary resident permit.
