About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I have a visa for my shanghai stay, then plane travel from shanghai to tokyo via beijing

am I allowed three days more in beijing AFTER shanghai

Kehya, you can stay in Beijing as long as you can. Just leave before your visa expires.
