I'm afraid the number of people going on this route is hard to tell. There is no exact record about it. We can just say a lot of people did.

it was used throughout Asia. it went roughly 7,000 km or 4000 miles. So I would say many people used this road. there is no and will be no exact number of the amount of people that used the route
