is it possible to prolong L type in PRC? if yes, what documents are required? Thanks in advance

Yes, you can prolong your L type from local entry and exit management bureau. The required documents are your passport, application form, a recent passport photo, accommodation registration form and a Chinese bank account containing CNY 21000 or 3000 USD at least. Besides, you should submit your application at least 7 days before your current one expires.
