what visa do i apply for in my case?

Question

My husband ,adult son and I are flying to Bejing for 2 nights before boarding a cruise. The cruise stops around Asia before 6 days later stopping at Another Chinese City Shanghai(during the day only) whilst still staying overnights onboard ship. The one entry as I'm staying in Bejing or two entries as I'm visiting Shangai for the day with cruise.

Martin, do you have a plan to visit Shanghai city? If so, you'd better apply for double-entry L type in advance. If you just stay onboard and don't visit Shanghai, then a single entry L type is ok.
