Would it be possible in one afternoon to see terrascotta museum and return to a city hotel?

I plan on taking 7:40 AM flight from Beijing to Xian on 9th April arriving there at 9:35 AM. Would it be possible to visit museum the same day and return to a hotel in Xian city in the evening? I need to fly from Xian to Osaka the next day.
