can i arrive before earliest date of entry?

Question

I received my invitation saying the earliest date of entry is 25th Feb. On the application form for the visa, can I put the date of first entry to Feb 23rd? Will they accept it, or will it be denied?

I think it's Ok that you fill the earlier date of first entry into the application form. However, once the entry permit is issued and in case that the granted earliest date of entry is Feb. 25th, you cannot enter before Feb. 25.
