Well Leshan Railway Station only operates trains running between E’mei shan and Chengdu East, E’mei shan and Jiangyou. 9 trains are available from 08:39 to 21:14 to Chengdu East. The ticket price for first class seat is CNY78, for second class seat is CNY65. It takes around 2 hours to reach.4 trains are available to Jiangyou from 08:39 to 18:05. The ticket price for first class seat is CNY151, for second class seat is CNY126. It takes around 3 hours to reach.

Thanks to the person who gave train times..... but there really is updated news....There is now a fast train that goes from LS to both Shuangliu airport, and at least one of the Chengdu train stations. Last I heard, it took 35 minutes between the two. I just can't find an English website with the information.

Yes, you are right. Intercity bullet trains are in operation from LS to Shuangliu Airport and it takes around an hour, longer than 35min. Eight trains fit your demand. I found the info on the official website of China Rail by the way.

It is in Shizhong district, nar Changyao crossing. Upon arrival, you can take bus no.3 or 601 to the Big Buddha directly.
