Can I provide my student certificate as a proof?

Good day. I am Nigerian and a student of the Eastern Mediterranean University North Cyprus. I would like to apply for a tourist visa to china. I had gone through the requirement process but having a little confusion. I just need to ask in accordance to the student letter needed by the Embassy if providing my student certificate is appropriate in that aspect? And would be pleased if you can inform me clear application requirements because I keep coming across different forms of requirements in websites. Thank you.

Hi, Enna! Where are you applying for the entry permit? What is the student letter? I'm a little bit confused.

I'm applying from Turkey. According to the requirements, I was asked to get a student letter from my school as a proof that shows I am a student of that school. So I asked if providing a student certificate is ok. What are the requirements needed for tourist entry permit please?

Enna, I think the student certificate is OK, but to play safe, you can ask your school to issue you a reference letter. Other documents required are your valid passsport, a photocopy of the data page of the passport, an application form ,two bareheaded photos against white background, the original and photocopy of residence permit, round-trip tickets and hotel reservations, and a bank certificate with a deposit not less than 5000 lire.
