About:China Visa Application in UK

Hi, I am a filipino and I am here in China and have a working visa until March 7 2015.

My friend in UK is inviting me to visit him. What is required?

Dane, he needs to apply for a L type. You may send him an invitation letter together copies of your resident permit and passport information page. Then he needn't provide round-trip air tickets and hotel booking to apply for it. Other documents are his passport, application form and a recent passport photo.

from my understanding, you can apply for the tourist type entry permit from "UK Embassy in China". but better you firstly extend your Chinese Residence Permit and then apply for the UK entry permit.
