for one who has not travel before but has interest of going to china to buy goods, what do i need?

You need to apply for a M type for your visit in China. You need to make an appointment with the Chinese embassy/consulate in advance and submit your application at the appointed date. It requires:
1. completed 2013 version application form affixed with a recent passport photo.
2. copies of your passport information page.
3. letter of confirmation or invitation letter issued by duly authorized Chinese unit.
4. invitation letter from your Chinese business partner
5. an introduction letter from your company.
6. a copy of your company's business license.
7. recent six months bank statement. You should at least have 4 million Naira in your account. If you have been to China before, you needn't provide this.
