About:Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe

Can I buy one way ticket for student visa.

My daughter is going to China for 3 years for studies in Sept, she has a student X type, can I just buy one way ticket for her instead of a return ticket as she will in China for a longtime before returning back home.
