It connects China and countries in west regions and Europe. Thanks to this road, traders could go from their own countries to reach China to do business. They bring wine, vegetables, gold and other products into China. In return, Chinese traders export chinaware, tea, silk and any other specialties to Eurpoean countries. Because of frequent communications, some diseases could be taken from other countries to China.
