It's getting difficult after new entry and exit management law was put into use. Where are you from? What type are you going to apply?

Then the required documents are still the same. Except for your passport, application form and recent six months passport photo, round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation are required. If you have the invitation letter, you needn't provide the air tickets and hotel booking. Besides, you are also required to provide your employment certificate, professional ID, recent six months bank statement or BIR-stamped tax form if you come to China for the first time. If you can't provide any of the above documents, you should write an explanation letter to state who will burden the expenditure during your stay in China.
