About:Beijing National Stadium

Could the structure of the birds' nest stadium hold a second level if more seats were needed?

If an event were to be held in the NEST , would the steel structure hold a second level to say for example HONG KONG to join Beijing, or maybe a small side nest added to accommodate, Appreciate an answer.

This is an interesting question! But as I know, the stand inside can be changed to meet different audience quantity in different time.
