About:Chinese Embassy in Cambodia

Any Americans get the new 10 year chinese visa in Cambodia?

I've heard people are getting them from the consulates in the US and Hong Kong but I'm not sure about the situation in Cambodia. If anyone got one I'd like to know if it was 30, 60, 90 or more days per entry. Thanks. Also is it possible to get a 10 year S2 type?

I'm afraid you can't get it from Cambodia, even though no regulations explicitly point this out. The stay duration of the 10-year entry permit can be 60, 90, 120, or even 180 days upon request based on your visit purppose. It's possible to get a 10-year S2 type, but not in Cambodia I think.

Hello, I am in Phnom Penh hoping to get a 10year visa through the Chinese embassy here. Did you give it a try? Let me know if you were successful.

Thank you.

Hello. I just visited the embassy today and was denied because my itinerary involved me staying in China for more than 30 days in a row. I was not denied on the basis that I was applying for a 10-year type, however. Even though I've read that the 10-year permits stays of up to 60 or 90 days the man at the consulate in Phnom Penh said otherwise (specicifically stated that it was "impossible"). I don't know if this is the case in other Chinese embassies but it was the case today. Maybe things will be different next week.
