About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

We will be in china for 20 days then fly to Hong Kong and out of Macau to Vietnam.

We are from New Zealand and England so qualify for visa free entry to Hong Kong and Macau also. Does this mean the only entry permit we need for china is the tourist (L) 30 days?
